Ep. 82 The Superior South
It’s a peculiar time of year in the South Eastern United states when late summer comes around. July 31st marked the beginning of deer season in southern Florida bucks have shed their velvet and the rut is in full swing all while just a few short hours away in central Florida bucks are still in bachelor groups with some horn growing left to do. Although it really doesn't feel like it, hunting season has begun for those brave enough to fight off the mosquitoes of the everglades and the south Florida sun. today we are sitting down with a returning guest and Florida native Jay Stone to talk about some of the more peculiar things there are to hunt in the deep south and a little bit about how to get the job done. Everything from Alligators to fall turkeys and a little bit of everything in between all encompassed by the weird south.
