Ep.88 United Waterfowlers

Waterfowl migrate through 4 flyways in the United States, the Pacific Flyway, The Central Flyway, The Mississippi Flyway and Arguably one of the more difficult flyways to hunt, The Atlantic Flyway. Way down at the southernmost part of that Flyway in the US lies the state of Florida. A state mostly known for its tourist attractions where the cypress swamps and cattle ponds are regularly overlooked, due to the hustle and bustle of everyday business. Although not known for its waterfowl hunting, a limit of wood ducks, teal or Ring necks can be scratched out with a little bit of work. Today we are joined by Newton Cook, President of United Waterfowlers of Florida to talk about the opportunities of not only duck hunting in Florida but preserving what we have left of our wetlands in the state.
