Ep. 89 Operation Outdoor Freedom

Nothing beats the serenity of a crisp fall morning in the deer stand, a steady wind at your back in the duck blind or the fog hovering over a lake that looks smooth as glass when the sun breaks the horizon. There is no question in my mind that being outside and connecting with mother nature has healing properties. Since the inception of our great nation brave men and women have gone to war for our country in order to protect the freedoms we enjoy today and  throughout history veterans have returned home still carrying the heavy burdens of war with them. This week we are joined by the guys from Operation Outdoors Freedom to talk about their program in the state of Florida that helps wounded and disabled veterans sometimes reconnect or form a whole new connection with the great outdoors through special opportunity hunts.
